WSDO promotes the celebration and adoption of World Sailing Day-28 May around the globe.
We develop and distribute public activation content, make media linkages, motivate, coordinate and support the holding of events in cities, marinas, yacht clubs and communities. We also support commercial and promotional activities in and around the week of World Sailing Day.
In addition, World Sailing Day fundraises for partner community, educational and sailing heritage projects.

World Sailing Day-28 May Partner memberships enable WSDO to initiate, coordinate, include and promote events around the globe.
ORGANISATION & MEDIA SUPPORT
A fixed contribution for all companies is requested to support the organisation, media and content development. This covers, press releases, social media postings, white papers as well as partner contacts administration.
REGISTRATION & LISTING
Each contributing partner will have their name, logo and contact details listed in the WSD databases, applicable site search queries as well as commercial event listings on the event portal.
YEAR BOOK – FIRST EDITION 2026
Each year a collectors edition of the World Sailing Day-28 May will be produced. In 2026, the Inuagural Edition will be published and available for order (soft-copy/hard copy).
LOCAL PARTNERSHIPS
WSD offers 3 levels of regional partnership. Bronze, Silver and Gold.
In the year leading up to World Sailing Day-28 May, bi-monthly conferences will be held to ensure partners maximise their benefit. Local and Strategic Partners will also be invited to attend the annual conference held following each World Sailing Day-28 May event.

The Full Cycle
World Sailing Day-28 is a recurring event. It has been designed to activate people, networks and businesses throughout the year.
In order to support partners gain the most benefiit from participating, 3 preparation seminars are held between each edition.
Partner offers and activations are promoted and tracked throughout the year in the lead-up to the next Day and CTAs are published regularly.
Public awareness and activity is promoted to ensure that the public can also plan, prepare and build new experiences. World Sailing Day is a complete year round activity!
