Classic Yacht Parades
Showcasing traditional and heritage vessels in harbour parades – events like SAIL Amsterdam 2025 are a great example of maritime history brought to life.
Maritime Workshops
Hands-on sessions on seamanship, navigation, safety at sea and boat maintenance, hosted by clubs, schools and maritime centres
Sailor Storytelling Sessions
Intimate gatherings where skippers, crews and coastal communities share personal stories, legends and lessons from life at sea.
Maritime museum exhibitions
Special exhibitions and guided tours highlighting local maritime heritage, iconic vessels and the people behind them.
Re-enactment of voyages
Symbolic recreations of historic routes or landmark passages, from short coastal legs to multi-day journeys completed in full or in stages.
