when the world meets sailing

Happy World Sailing Day 2026

Here is how the world celebrated the inaugural year.

Highlight from Uganda

Uganda’s sailing community is celebrating World Sailing Day through a series of events led by Victoria Nyanza Sailing Club and Entebbe Sailing Club. The highlight is the revival of the historic 32km Entebbe-to-Kaazi sail, originally dating back to 1939.

On World Sailing Day, we celebrate a new generation of sailors and the revitalization of the sport on Lake Victoria.

From our Members and Supporters

From club regattas and youth races to community sails and waterfront celebrations, World Sailing Day 2026 is bringing sailors together across the globe.
